What’s in a Franchise Signage Package? A 3D Walkthrough

Quick answer: A franchise signage package is one design system built from a few repeatable layers: a main sign, wall graphics, window graphics and a brand colour set. Each location then gets the version that suits its frontage. Below, a 3D model and a storefront mock-up show how those layers fit together.

A franchise signage package should look like one brand on every street, even when every building is different. The model below is an illustration. The photos are from a real pet-retail franchise project, so you can see what goes into a package before you plan your own.

What’s in a franchise signage package

Every package has the same five layers. Each one is specified once, then adapted to each location.

LayerWhat it isWhy it matters
Main signA wood-tone aluminum slat frame built over the building’s existing metal mesh, made in two sectionsA warm, premium look without replacing what is already on the building
LettersIlluminated white letters for the brand name, painted acrylic words for the servicesEach message gets the letter style that suits it, on the same frame
Wall graphicPrinted wall vinyl in two overlapping panelsOne continuous message across a long wall
Window graphicsWhite line art on clear film, plus colour shapes on printed vinyl with a gloss laminateBrand storytelling that still lets the glass work as glass
Brand coloursOne colour set carried across every printed layerThe same brand colours at every location

The craft behind it

A frame designed to fit what is already there. The slat sign is built from 1″ aluminum square tube with 1″ gaps, held off the existing mesh by aluminum mounting plates. It is made in two sections so it can be packed, shipped and handled in manageable pieces.

Graphics cut to the building. Window graphics are produced as pre-sized panels for each window, with extra bleed so the edges land cleanly. The long wall graphic is split into two panels with a small overlap, so the seam reads as one image.

The right material for each job. White line art is printed in white ink on optically clear film. Colour shapes go on printed vinyl with a gloss laminate. Letters suit their message: illuminated white LED letters for the brand name, and 1/2″ acrylic painted white for the services.

Every package starts with our first step, getting it right from the start, and with detailed site measurements. Then we design, produce and pack each location’s version. Franchise signage package FAQ

What does a franchise signage package include?

Typically a main sign, wall graphics, window graphics and a brand colour set. Each is specified once, then adapted to each location.

Can one package fit different buildings?

Yes. The system stays the same while sizes, letter style and layouts change to suit each frontage. That is how locations stay consistent while the buildings differ.

Who handles permits?

We handle design, permits, fabrication and install, so each location’s approvals fit into the rollout schedule.

Why use 3D models and mock-ups?

They let franchisors and new franchisees see the finished storefront and its layers before production starts.
