Exterior Wall Graphics on Brick: Transca Latitude Case Study

Quick answer: Exterior wall graphics on brick need a material made for textured masonry, and every measurement has to be taken on site. For Transca’s Latitude presentation centre, Can-Design used a special concrete wall vinyl that adheres to hard brick while keeping its texture. We also re-fabricated the existing lightboxes with new corporate messaging, all within a four-week project.

When a presentation centre opens, the building itself is the first sales tool. Exterior wall graphics on brick are a good example of a brief that rewards planning. The surface is textured, the walls are large and the brand has to read clearly from the street. Here is how the Latitude project came together.

The Brief

Transca looked to Can-Design to turn blank walls and windows into graphics that carried their corporate brand and vision. The presentation centre also had lightboxes around the facade that needed new corporate messaging. Walls, windows and lightboxes all had to read as one brand, on a four-week timeline.

Exterior Wall Graphics on Brick: The Approach

Brick is a demanding surface for graphics, because the texture that gives it character is also what makes a standard film hard to apply. The right material solves this, and so does knowing the wall before production starts.

Our process starts with getting the brief right from the start. On installed projects, the next step is measuring twice and cutting once. Our site survey team took all of the measurements for the lightboxes, so the graphics were produced to fit the facade, not estimated from drawings.

The Craft Behind It

Vinyl made for the wall. The walls were hard brick, so the team used a special concrete wall vinyl. It adheres to the brick and still lets the texture show through, so the graphics look part of the building and not stuck on top of it.

Lightboxes given a new message. Because the lightboxes were already in place, the work was re-fabrication: the pre-existing boxes were given new corporate messaging, then wrapped and installed with precision around the facade. Updating existing structures this way is an approach we cover in The Death of Rip-and-Replace: Why Strategic Resurfacing Is the New Standard for 2026.

Four weeks, coordinated. Walls, windows and lightboxes ran as one project. Careful coordination between the survey, design, production and installation teams kept the whole facade on its four-week schedule.

The Result

A facade that carries Transca’s brand across brick walls, windows and lightboxes, delivered in four weeks. You can see the work on the project pages for Latitude exterior graphics and Latitude lightbox re-fabrication.

FAQ

Can vinyl graphics go on brick?
With the right material, yes. At Latitude, a special concrete wall vinyl adhered to hard brick while keeping its texture. A site visit confirms the surface before production begins.

Can existing lightboxes be updated instead of replaced?
Yes. The Latitude lightboxes were re-fabricated with new corporate messaging, then wrapped and installed. Updating existing boxes suits a message change. New fabrication is the right choice when the brand needs a different size or form.

How long does a project like this take?
The Latitude exterior graphics were a four-week project. Timelines depend on scope, surface and site, which we set in the first step of our process.

Why measure on site?
Detailed on-site visits mean graphics are produced to fit the real facade. It is the “measure twice, cut once” step of our process.

Do you handle permits?
Yes. We handle design, permits, fabrication and installation.
